Amanda is an alum of WriteGirl, a non-profit organization I volunteer with in Los Angeles. WriteGirl provides mentoring and workshops in a variety of genres to help teen girls find their voice through creative writing. Amanda owned the stage today — I couldn’t stop crying as I listened to her powerful, hopeful words!
